Effol Hoof Ointment (Green) is a multi-benefit, antibacterial ointment that strengthens the hoof, prevents dryness, disinfects, and guards against skin disease, cracks, split heels and other hoof conditions. Effol Hoof Ointment with the green lid is neutral color and can be used on any color hoof without staining white stockings. It’s one of our Best Sellers!

The Effol Hoof Ointment is terrific for brittle hooves that are prone to chipping. The thicker Ointment helps protect the hoof in wet environments. It also has a disinfecting ingredient to help keep the hoof healthy. Many of our customers use the ointment version at horse shows instead of a clear polish hoof shine. Effol Hoof Ointment gives a more natural shiny appearance and still repels dust, compared to an oil hoof polish.
