Kryo Kompakt Cold Pack from Stubben makes cold therapy for your horse easier and more effective. The innovative German patented cold pack removes heat from your horse’s legs for a longer period of time than ice can. An ice cold compress that maintains a consistent temperature is the key to reduce inflammation and allow tissue regeneration. Cold water hosing, ice, and frozen packs are not able to achieve the level of coldness, conforming fit, and comfort that the Kryo Kompakt Cold Pack delivers. The large size means only one pack is needed to surround the lower leg.

The Kryo Kompakt pack contains a paraffin-oil emulsion that withdraws heat slowly, so there is no frost bite or pain. The soft, malleable pack molds to the leg immediately out of the freezer so you won’t have to wait for a frozen pack to soften. Please note: the legs must be kept dry. Cold compress will freeze water on contact and that ice can cause frost injury. The Kryo Kompakt Cold Wrap is comfortable on your horse’s skin with a conforming fit held in place by an elastic bandage (sold separately). Kryo Kompakt Pack is an extremely durable nylon and can be used up to 400 times or more!
