When it is chilly and cold outside, Orvus will harden into a paste. Scoop out the amount you need and dilute in warm/hot water. During the warmer months of the year, it is nice and shampoo-gooey again. Don’t worry, it’s just a part of Orvus life. Highly recommend using a creme rinse or conditioner after use, especially if your horse has sensitive or dry skin.
