Strongid C 2X is a continuous-feeding supplement for the prevention of Strongylus vulgaris large strongyles, small strongyles, pinworms, ascarids, and other parasites. The active ingredient in Strongid C 2X is pyrantel tartrate. These dewormer pellets are safe for pregnant mares and foals. Keeping parasite levels under control helps your horse perform at his best. Parasites steal nutrition, energy and good health from your horse. Left unchecked, parasites can cause damage to vital organs, impair growth and performance, and may cause colic.Alfalfa and molasses-based pellets

A daily dose of Strongid C 2X helps break the cycle of parasite infection. This continuous feed dewormer is indicated particularly for certain situations. If your horse is in a busy boarding facility, goes off site for training and showing, is in a non-rotated pasture, or a densely populated pasture, then Strongid C 2X can be beneficial. Horses who are geriatric or very young like foals and weanlings may need extra deworming support. If your horse has a vet-confirmed fecal egg count of more than 200 eggs per gram, continuous deworming may be a good protocol. As always, check with your vet. Highly palatable pellets are based in alfalfa and molasses to ensure your horse eats them. Strongid C 2X is easy to top dress or mix into any feed.
